Dalguise is a small hamlet located 6 miles North of Dunkeld in beautiful Perthshire. The postcode is PH8 0JU.

 

It is circa 20 miles North of Perth. It is just over an hour's drive from Edinburgh airport and less than an hour from Dundee airport.

 

The nearest town - and train station -  is Dunkeld (6 mi) with its magnificent cathedral. It has a Coop with good opening hours as well as a butcher, a great deli, a pharmacy, a couple of cafes and restaurants, and of course the world famous Dunkeld smokeries.

 




Activities:

 

Walking and cycling: The Kirk is adjacent to the Craigvinean forest with its many walks and cycling opportunities.

 

Golf: nearest gold course is Dunkeld (<10 mi) but Perthshire is absolutely full of golf courses!

 

Fishing: nearest loch fishing is Butterstone (<10mi) and fishing on the Tay can be done at a number of places nearby.

 

White water canoeing: Aberfeldy (<10 mi).
